🧲 Junior Sales Representative – Role Overview

🎯 Mission
As a Junior Sales Representative at Abbove, your mission is to actively manage the full sales cycle — from identifying qualified leads, conducting discovery calls, delivering demos, to following through until the deal is closed. You'll be a key player in Abbove’s expansion within the Dutch-speaking markets (Belgium + Netherlands), and possibly beyond depending on performance. You’ll receive training, exposure, and coaching to help you grow into a fully autonomous Account Executive within 6–12 months.
🔧 Core Responsibilities
1. Prospecting, Outreach & Opportunity Development
- Identify target companies and decision-makers in the wealth management and financial services market
- Build and manage outreach lists using LinkedIn, CRM, websites or tools like Sales Navigator, etc.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, decision-making processes, and buying intent
- Align client needs with Abbove’s value proposition and solutions
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed qualification notes in CRM (HubSpot)
2. Demo Execution & Pipeline Ownership
- Deliver live product demos to prospective clients
- Own the client relationship from first call to closing stage
- Manage your own pipeline of sales-qualified opportunities
- Forecast pipeline accurately and track progression in CRM
3. Client Relationship Building
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in target companies (banks, family offices, wealth managers)
- Customize communication based on client type and maturity in the buying journey
- Maintain regular, value-adding contact with prospects through email, LinkedIn, and follow-up calls
4. Sales Enablement & Feedback
- Shadow and collaborate with the VP Sales during complex negotiations
- Actively contribute to feedback loops with Marketing to refine outreach and messaging
- Help identify recurring objections and work on overcoming them with the Sales team
- Continuously improve pitch delivery, objection handling, and industry knowledge through coaching and training
- Stay up to date with the wealth management industry and client pain points
5. Strategic Market Development
- Take the lead on growing Abbove’s presence in Dutch-speaking regions (Belgium + Netherlands)
- Be open to expanding into new territories depending on your results
📈 KPIs & Growth Objectives
- Sales Pipeline Ownership: Maintain and grow your personal pipeline from qualified opportunity to close deal
- Sales Touchpoints: Maintain a consistent volume of high-quality follow-ups and conversations
- Lead Conversion: Deliver 20+ sales-qualified opportunities per month
- Demo & Closing: Conduct high-quality demos and close at least 1 deal/month starting from month 6
- Pipeline Accuracy: Maintain clean, updated records and forecasts in CRM
- Territory Growth: Show tangible results in the Dutch-speaking market and contribute to regional expansion
- Career Progression: Advance into a full Account Executive role within 6–12 months with demonstrated performance
🧩 What You’ll Need to Succeed
Core Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of professional experience (e.g., SDR, sales internship, business development, or customer-facing roles)
- Strong communication skills in French and Dutch (written and spoken)
- Comfortable with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach platforms
- An interest in wealth management, financial services, or B2B SaaS (industry onboarding provided)
